We dump the entire firmware to grab all the necessary laser calibration data. The latest version of Lite Touch is the firmware that we use.  We use the latest and safest method to flash your drive.  If you're laser is uncalibrated then that will lead to premature death of your laser. It is advised that all owners of previous LiteOn drives dump their entire firmware. This means if you used the spear or xtractor pro, usbxtractor, or any rs232-ttl device, you will need to dump the firmware and flash with LiteTouch.
